We have developed the largest video library of patient and carer experiences in the Asia-Pacific region.
Known as Speaking From Experience, our library has been developed in partnership with more than 40 peak consumer health organisations. The series includes approximately 800 video clips across 100 health titles. It presents patient and carer experiences of a broad range of chronic conditions and wellness topics, including diabetes, osteoarthritis, heart disease, COPD, cancer, advance care planning and pain management, among others.
The participants are positive role models who share their experiences of the day-to-day challenges and strategies they use to manage their illnesses. Based on current evidence, the video series aims to improve patient self-efficacy and self-management behaviours, and empower people to play a more active role in their health care.
